I have been working with children and adolescents for the past 20 years as a school psychologist, a private practitioner and as a mother of five. My approach is warm, engaging, informal and low key and my goal is to help kids become more aware of their own resilience, strengths and power in the context of a supportive therapeutic relationship. In our work together they learn how to ask the important questions to connect the dots that make up their life stories, to understand brain biology and the mind-body connection, and practical tools and tips for managing their emotions. Most importantly, they learn that good communication is the key to successful relationships, which are the key to a happy and fulfilling life.
