Angela Sims
I am a child psychologist and the Director of the Children’s Center at The Pastoral Institute which is a faith based practice. I have over 30 years in practice in working with children and their families. My main practice now is in psychological testing for autism, ADHD, learning disorders, behavioral and emotional (e.g. anxiety, depression, etc.) concerns in children. My approach is to partner with each family in order to better understand the child that I am testing. I am committed to finding out what is going on with each child and helping the family access the best services to help their child develop to their maximum potential. Your first appointment will be to get acquainted to hear what the concerns are. From there, we set up testing as needed and a feedback session to go over the results. All testing includes a formal written psychological report that can be sent to other professionals working with the child and is uploaded to the child’s personal patient portal for access in the future.
