We are a clinic based at the University of Maine in Orono, ME and serve clients from all areas of Maine. We offer research-based psychological treatments, such as cognitive behavior therapy, for a wide range of ages and difficulties and are staffed by Clinician-Psychologist teams with specific expertise in many areas. Our recently developed specialty clinic, COVID-19 Stress Clinic (CSC), offers a 4-5 session course of therapy targeting stress reactions or emotional difficulties that have arisen or worsened from the consequences of the pandemic. Clients who participate in the CSC can continue with longer-term therapy services if they choose. We have a sliding fee scale that is often less than or equal to an insurance co-pay.
