Ashley Hoffman
Ashley Hoffman, Psy.D., is a licensed clinical psychologist. Dr. Hoffman graduated summa cum laude from the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a Bachelor of Science degree in Honors Psychology. She then earned a Doctor of Psychology degree and Master of Science degree in Clinical Psychology at Florida Institute of Technology. Dr. Hoffman has previous experience working as a generalist with all ages in private practice at Asbury Counseling Center, with college students in a university counseling center, in a children's clinic at a community mental health center, on an adult unit at an inpatient psychiatric hospital, on a family therapy treatment team, as the associate director of a sexual abuse treatment program, on a specialized Autism Spectrum Disorder treatment team performing evaluations and treatment, and as a field researcher for Pearson test company. She is a member of the American Psychological Association and the National Register of Health Service Psychologists. She resides in Madison with her husband and two children.
Dr. Hoffman provides psychological services to children, adolescents, young adults, and adults. Her clinical interests include spiritual issues, anxiety disorders (OCD, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Panic Disorder, Social Anxiety Disorder, PTSD), mood disorders (Depression, Bipolar Disorder), marital therapy, women's issues (infertility, miscarriage, postpartum disorders), childhood and teenage problems (ADHD, anxiety, adoption, abuse, bullying, social skills, depression, divorce, Autism, self-worth, risky behaviors, attachment, Oppositional Defiant Disorder), parent-child relational problems, and evidence-based practices. She conducts psychological evaluations for ADHD, Asperger's/ Autistic Disorder, Learning Disorders (Dyslexia, etc), Gifted placement, personality disorders, and parental evaluations for adoption.
