Brenda Aranda
Dr. Brenda Aranda works with a variety of conditions common to children, adolescents, and young adults (ages 19-25) including depression and anxiety disorders, behavior problems, pediatric obesity, and trauma related concerns. Dr. Aranda has the ability to conduct psychotherapy and psychological assessments in both English and Spanish.
Dr. Aranda is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, an Assistant professor at University of Arizona College of Medicine, and an Adjunct Professor at Arizona State University. She received postdoctoral training at University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) Medical Center and Pre-doctoral training at University of Southern California (USC) Medical School/ Children's Hospital Los Angeles.
Dr. Aranda is trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), and Incredible Years (IY).
