Dr. Brendan McCollum is a Clinical Psychologist licensed to practice in the state of Florida. While he sees
patients of all ages, Dr. McCollum specializes in child, adolescent, and family therapies. Dr. McCollum
has the expertise to treat patients with all disorders and has considerable experience working with
individuals who have been diagnosed with behavioral disorders, ADHD, depression, anxiety, and anger
management difficulties. Dr. McCollum utilizes primarily Cognitive Behavioral techniques along with
mindfulness and acceptance strategies. His focus is on challenging the patient’s beliefs while providing
compassion and empathy. In addition, Dr. McCollum provides evaluations for ADHD, learning disabilities,
and general intelligence/achievement.

Dr. McCollum received his Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Georgia Southern University and
completed his APA accredited internship at the Nebraska Internship Consortium of Professional
Psychology (NICPP) Boys Town site in Omaha, NE. He completed his post-doctoral training at Coastal
Behavioral Healthcare in Sarasota, Florida. His training has focused primarily on providing evidence-
based therapy and assessments to children, adolescents, and families in a variety of settings with people
from diverse backgrounds.
