Carolyn McGuffog
Dr. Carolyn McGuffog holds two doctorates from Teacher’s College Columbia University, one in education and one in psychology. She has extensive postdoctoral training in neuropsychology, psychoanalysis, cognitive behavioral therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy. Dr. McGuffog serves as the Superintendent of Greenburgh North-Castle UFSD, a special act district in NYS serving students with significant emotional, behavioral, developmental and learning disabilities. Previously, Dr. McGuffog was an Assistant Superintendent in the Pleasantville School District where she created highly sought-after special education programs. Dr. McGuffog was also an Adjunct Associate Professor of Psychology at Fordham University and the founder and Clinical Director of an American Psychological Association (APA) accredited psychology internship program in the Pleasantville School District. In addition to her Superintendent position, she has private practice offices in Westchester County and New York City where she conducts neuropsychological assessment, psychotherapy and educational/psychological consultation.
