Carrie Pate
I enjoy working with a variety of people at different age ranges- children, adolescents, and adults- to help them find their better selves. Our world can be stressful, and sometimes it can be hard to understand that reality we have, whether personally or globally. I want to help you understand yourself as you search for answers that will benefit your life and goals. I especially enjoy working with survivors of trauma, including adult survivors of childhood trauma or abuse, as well as ADHD, coping development, and career/education development and planning. I believe that where you start does not have to be where you finish, and it is my job to create that space for growth and change. I have a versatile style that allows us to use your strengths, experiences, and interests to help you grow into the person you want to be, while also preserving safety with consistency and balance. I have a Masters degree and license in social work, and I have a PhD in psychology. I have experience with CBT, DBT, Existential psychotherapy, dream work, reality therapy, behavioral techniques, structural/strategic, systems theory, and internal family systems. I am happy to work with individuals and families. I look forward to meeting you and working together to start helping you live now and create your future.
