Cesar GonzalezCesar A. Gonzalez, PhD, LP, ABPP is a licensed psychologist in Minnesota (United States). Dr. Gonzalez holds a joint academic appointment as assistant professor at Mayo Clinic (Rochester, Minnesota) in the Department of Psychiatry and Psychology where he is Clinical Director of the Transgender and Intersex Specialty Care Clinic, and in the Department of Family Medicine where he serves as the Associate Program Director of the Family Medicine Residency Program. Dr. Gonzalez is involved in providing psychotherapy supervision/training to postdoctoral psychology fellows and to psychiatry resident physicians.

In 2010, Dr. Gonzalez completed a two-year research/clinical postdoctoral fellowship in human sexuality where he specialized in transgender health; sex and relationship therapy; and the treatment of problematic sexual behaviors. He is a former faculty member in the University of Minnesota Medical School.

He is board certified in clinical psychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology and is credentialed with the National Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology in the United States. Dr. Gonzalez is an Advanced Certified in Schema Therapy and Certified as an Individual Schema Trainer/Supervisor.
