I am a clinical psychologist specializing in child, adolescent and young adult individual assessment, diagnosis, psychodynamic psychotherapy and play therapy. With over 24 years experience as therapist and as a graduate of Tufts University specializing in child development and psychopathology, I work with a broad spectrum of clients. I do full assessments and testing with a view to developmental issues as well as depression, anxiety and learning issues. I am trained in EMDR and use it in my work with those who have experienced trauma. I am also an Irlen diagnostician.

In addition to being a therapist, I have presented at National conferences and to general audiences speaking on the topics of child maltreatment, early intervention, the history of the care of dependent children and of course, Irlen Syndrome. I have also been on the faculty of several colleges and universities in the departments of child development.

I am an interactive, solution-focused therapist. My goal is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. I integrate complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. I hope I bring compassion and understanding to my work to help children and their families build on their strengths and solve the issues they confront.
