Jill is a licensed Marriage and Family therapist with over 26 years of clinical experience working in community agencies (Outpatient Program Manager for Momentum for Mental Health), hospitals, domestic violence shelters and schools. Jill also is an adjunct faculty with University of San Francisco and local seminary. Jill specializes in children, adults, relationship issues and organizational treatment. She also specializes in cross-cultural communication, acculturation, multicultural identity and life transitions. For 26 years, Jill works with diverse multicultural populations coping with issues related to a wide range of mental illness and psycho-social adjustment.
Currently, Jill is an adjunct faculty for University of San Francisco, a Behavioral Health therapist for El Camino Hospital. She also has two private practice offices in San Mateo and Cupertino. Jill is also the lead for American Red Cross Disaster Mental Health. Dr. Chia-Ling Mao and Jill started the first Chinese American NAMI support group in the year of 2000.
Jill provides cultural and linguistic consultations in addition to individual, family and group psychotherapy in Mandarin, Taiwanese and English.
