Special Note: I am offering teletherapy and phone consultation sessions during the COVID-19 situation.
I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and Certified Parent-Child Interaction therapist and specialize in working with children, adolescents, young adults, and their families. By offering my clients acceptance and understanding, I strive to develop a safe and nurturing environment where challenges and goals can be addressed and hope and direction can be established. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, Mindfulness Techniques, and Play Therapy. I draw from these techniques and tailor them to fit your needs. Whatever challenges you are facing, I am here to work collaboratively with you to generate meaningful change.
My practice includes psychotherapy, parent coaching, and psychological testing. I specialize in addressing ADHD and behavioral issues, parent-child relationship issues and child compliance, emotional issues including anxiety, depression, and self-esteem, and life transitions. I work with individuals, parents, and families and utilize interventions with a shorter-term orientation.
My background includes positions at the residential treatment facility at Green Chimneys, the adolescent inpatient unit at Four Winds Hospital, the child/family clinic at Beth Israel Medical Center, the mental health community clinic at Andrus, and the psychology team at the Southfield Center For Development.
