Courtney Gallagher
My mission is to support clients of all ages through collaboration, self-reflection and skill building. I assist parents, families and children with social, mood and academic concerns. I help teenagers and adults manage stress, life transitions and explore problematic relationships. Therapy is a powerful and important tool for positive change, and I provide a safe space for that process. I work equally well with women, men, children and adolescents, and enjoy working with diverse populations.
I believe that the therapeutic relationship is the most important agent of change for clients of all ages. Therapy can be hard work, and a good relationship with your therapist is a must. I build trusting, comfortable relationships that allow clients to tackle challenges, confront difficult situations, and engage in meaningful lives.
I earned my Masters and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Denver. I am certified in Managing and Adapting Practice (MAP), a direct service model that uses a collection of resources to ensure the use of evidenced-based treatments with clients of all ages. I am a Psychologist Candidate in the state of Colorado (PSYC#14237).
