Dr. Cypher is a New York State Licensed Psychologist with a Private Practice located at 30B Grove Street in Pittsford, NY. Dr. Cypher has over a decade of experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, and their families in a variety of mental health and educational settings. He has expertise in Sport Psychology and is a Certified Mental Performance Consultant, as administered by the Association for Applied Sport Psychology. He currently works with individual athletes, teams, and athletic organizations in the Rochester, NY area and throughout North America and serves as the Sport Psychologist and Mindset Training Lead for the University of Rochester Fitness Science program, a comprehensive athlete development program that includes strength/conditioning, nutrition, and mindset training. Through Sport Psychology, athletes and teams can help build mental skills for performance, including focus, mental toughness, confidence, and teamwork. Dr. Cypher is a member of APA Division 47 (Society for Sport, Exercise, and Performance Psychology) and the Association for Applied Sport Psychology (AASP).
