I recognize that entering therapy is a big decision. I am sensitive to each client's specific needs and the pace in which the individual wishes to move in treatment. I make my best effort to support people in feeling comfortable, safe, and empowered in their sessions. I use a strengths-based approach in my work: recognizing each individual's strengths, and then building on those qualities, to help them bring about positive change in their lives.
For over 20 years, I have provided therapy for individuals of all ages who are coping with anxiety and depressive symptoms, ADHD, anger management difficulties, and trauma. I am also experienced in helping those navigating life transitions including divorce, women’s issues, parenting issues, grief and loss, and LGBTQ health and well-being.
