About:

Dawn DorayDoray Psychological Services, PLLC and Dr. Dawn P Doray strive to offer a “ray of hope” to children, adolescents, and their families with an emphasis on working with trauma and maltreatment issues. By providing individual and family therapy services, Dr. Doray focuses on the specific needs of each client, tailoring trauma focused cognitive-behavioral services to address and develop new ways of managing and coping with the impact of trauma/maltreatment on the client’s and their family’s daily life. Child custody evaluations focus on providing a balanced perspective of parental involvement and needs of the child, spotlighting what is in the best interest of the child. Psychological evaluations and assessments enhance what the client’s strengths and weaknesses are and the interplay of the two on the client’s daily functioning. Dr. Doray believes that children and adolescents can become responsible for their actions, thoughts, and feelings in a safe and nurturing environment where they can be heard and respected and encouraged to heal.
