Deana Stevens
With over 20 years’ experience in a wide range of clinical settings, including acute crisis, inpatient, residential and outpatient psychiatric, child protective and substance abuse programs, I am currently available to work with people of different ages and in different life stages.
Understanding how your concerns affect you at this particular point in time will be central to the treatment. Primarily, I work with individuals yet I also consult with parents to help their children and spouses/partners to help significant others with a variety of mental health and developmental issues.
My approach is active and structured by your needs, abilities, and hopes for change. However, it will be necessary to have patience as well. The most effective treatment I can offer will combine effort and reflection. This means that one meeting may feel very different than the next. I encourage you to let me know about your most pressing concerns, including those about the process of therapy.
