Hello, I’m Dr. Boscán, a California licensed psychologist and psychoanalyst. With more than 15 years of clinical experience working with children, adolescents, and adults, my expertise ranges from providing both psychoanalytic and psychological treatment for adults, adolescents, and children. I have a PhD in psychology and post-doctoral training and certification in psychoanalysis. I also have post-doctoral training and offer services in pediatric neuropsychology. Through June 2018, I supervised Psychiatric Fellows in their third year of residence at the University of San Diego, School of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry. I am a member of the faculty at the San Diego Psychoanalytic Center which provides post-doctoral training in psychoanalysis, and from which I received my own psychoanalytic training. I am a member of the International Psychoanalytic Association (IPA), where, during my psychoanalytic training, I served as the North American Vice-President of the International Psychoanalytic Studies Organization (IPSO) of IPA. I have presented a number of papers at IPA conferences relating to my clinical work with children and adolescents. I am also a member of the American Psychoanalytic Association (ApsaA). I was born in Venezuela, enjoy gardening, travelling, cooking and spending time with my family, friends and pets.
