Diane AllenAt some point, every one of us is faced with a situation that overwhelms our ability to cope and we need a place to find support and hope. It may be stress, depression, or anxiety that is interfering with what you want to do. Or maybe a nagging fear that there is something wrong with your loved one’s learning, social abilities, or behavior. For others, grief due to a death, diagnosis, or other life situation will become overwhelming. At these difficult times, I can help you find the answers you need and the strength to turn those answers into a great life.
I am a licensed clinical psychologist with excellent training, as well as years of experience, to help you on your journey. I have significant experience providing both therapy (individual, couples, family, and parent) and assessments (ADHD, autism, IQ, depression/anxiety, and tinnitus management evaluations). I enjoy working with people of all backgrounds and ages, from infancy to seniors. I have extensive training in neurodevelopmental issues, such as autism, learning disorders, communication disorders, and ADHD, as well as tinnitus management, and family/parenting issues.
I understand how difficult it can be to find the time and energy for therapy or an evaluation when life is already feeling overwhelming. However, spending time getting a full understanding of the issue, solutions focused to your situation and strengths, and support from an invested and caring professional, can actually help you get to a place of peace more quickly. With your input and my experience, you cannot only cope - you can thrive!
