Elizabeth Albertsen
Liz provides psychological evaluation including risk assessment, disability, fitness for duty, parenting, and mental health. Past work with Valley Behavioral Health includes development of Valley Victim Services domestic violence shelter and victim advocate program in Tooele County as a member program of the Utah Domestic Violence Coalition; Domestic Violence Attending Clinician providing and overseeing services for victims and offenders of domestic violence; Clinical Supervisor of the Forensic Clinic for court-ordered assessment and treatment for people with severe psychiatric and substance use disorders; Coordinator of the Women’s Intensive Outpatient Substance Use Disorders Treatment Program; and Prevention Services Coordinator for Valley’s prevention services in Salt Lake County. Liz served in leadership roles for several years with the Utah Association for Domestic Violence Treatment (UADVT) and as an invited member of the Utah Domestic Violence Offender Taskforce. Liz is licensed as a psychologist in Utah. She earned her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from The Wright Institute in Berkley, California, and her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Walla Walla University in Washington state. Liz enjoys time with her family and dog, including team sports and board games.
