Elizabeth Scafidi
I completed my Undergraduate education at the University of Rochester, and received my Master's and Ph.D. from Rutgers University. I then completed my Predoctoral Internship at Westchester Jewish Community Services. Most recently, I served as the Clinical Director of The Center For Behavior Therapy in White Plains. I have worked in private practice, community mental health clinics, university counseling centers, and schools. I have worked with adults, adolescents, and children, and have provided individual, family, couples, and group therapy. I have also done quite a bit of teaching, having been a Lecturer at Rutgers University and the State University of New York - Purchase College, teaching course such as Infant and Child Development, Adolescent Development, and Abnormal Psychology. I have also have trained mental health professionals in CBT techniques, including treatment of Depression and Anxiety Disorders.
