About:

Eric HerschmanI try to create an environment of trust and openness where people I work with feel safe to address and explore challenges in their lives. With over 25 years of providing clinical services to individuals, couples, and families, I have seen and understand what can best be described as the human experience. It’s about the way people relate to each other and make sense of the world. Your experience is specific to you and you should be treated like an individual because of that.

As a result of my professional training and education, I feel comfortable addressing a variety of issues and concerns and if I don’t or if you feel you need another perspective, I’m happy to refer you to colleagues who can help.

I also find it helpful to coordinate treatment with psychiatrists, neurologists, primary care physicians, pediatricians, family doctors, and other medical specialists and schools as necessary. Objectivity and humor provide insight that makes it possible for me to help you deal with your worries, concerns and emotionally charged issues. While I will guide you through whatever might be causing your anxiety or depression, you will have the control that ultimately takes you to your own goals.
