Frederika Theus
My practice combines a solid foundation in traditional psychotherapy with specialized interventions for individuals with special needs, serving clients across a wide range of functioning levels. Intervention is based on the individual's unique strengths and needs, drawing from a variety of treatment models. Trauma-informed care tailored to the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities is a particular focus. Counseling for parents and siblings is offered, and I am open to treatment issues related to cultural diversity, sexuality, and gender identity.
Neuropsychology-based assessments are available regarding a variety of developmental concerns, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Learning Disabilities, Developmental Delay, and Intellectual Disability, as well as related complex social-emotional concerns.
