Gretchen Palau
Thank you for visiting my site! It’s not always easy to open up to someone and share your thoughts and feelings, especially when you don’t know the person. When someone does make that initial call to a therapist, I believe they need to feel reassured that they will be listened to and supported by the person on the other end of the phone. It’s important to me that you feel safe initially and throughout your work with me. I provide a safe and compassionate space for you to share your story. Using my training and expertise, I am able to offer a respectful, empathic understanding that will support your emotional healing.
My goal is for you to feel listened to, seen by me, and ultimately, for you to feel better! When we can create that relationship together, we are able to build on skills and strategies that help you create a healthy relationship with yourself and others. Sometimes, past trauma/s can get in the way of living your life. Together, we can explore your history and find new and meaningful ways to live a less distracted and more fulfilling life.
I provide treatment for infants and their parents, children, teens, adults, couples and families in an outpatient setting.
