About:

Heather VeagueI am a psychologist who specializes in the assessment and treatment of children, adolescents, and young adults. I have advanced training in the assessment and treatment of children with anxiety, eating disorders and autism spectrum disorder. In addition to psychotherapy, I provide psychological evaluations for students seeking to better understand their learning profile as well as children who have psychiatrically complex profiles. I love working with teams of providers to help support developing minds. I am licensed to practice in the states of Massachusetts and Virginia.
I obtained my Ph.D. in psychology from Harvard University and completed a re-specialization program in clinical psychology from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.  I completed my APA accredited internship at Albany Psychology Internship Consortium at Albany Medical College in New York, and an APA accredited postdoctoral fellowship at the Lucille Packard Children's Hospital at Stanford University School of Medicine.

Due to the COVID-19 crisis, I am only offering telehealth treatment at this time, but hoping to return to the office shortly. Should you wish to talk with me, please call 434-242-7835. If you choose to email me, please be aware that email is typically not secure and as such, please be judicious about the information you share.
