James Gioia
As a board certified training and supervising psychoanalyst my expertise is in helping individuals identify and change the thoughts and feelings about themselves that cause depression, fear, and los self-esteem and to discover and modify the patterns of relating to others that cause anxiety, alienation, and separateness. In therapy we work to create experiences that liberate thoughts, feelings and behaviors from the ideas and ways of being and behaving that inhibit their free and creative expression. Treatment aims at increasing one's effectiveness in dealing with life's problems and in achieving one's goals.
