After getting my PhD, I initially worked in the Child Psychiatry Department at Mt Carmel Hospital in Detroit for ten years. I then worked in a number of outpatient clinics until beginning my private practice. Initially I worked primarily with children and families. As I expanded my practice working with adults, I added a specialty in also working with post traumatic stress. I currently specialize working with depression, anxiety and relationship challenges. I have published a number of professional articles and written two books on the interface between psychology and spirituality. I feel fortunate that I continue to love going to work after doing it for over four decades.
