Jenna Hedglen-Smith
I specialize in working with children, adolescents, and families who are looking for additional support in their lives. In my work, I focus on listening to the unique story of every child, whether the child communicates through words, behaviors, or play. Because I value the intrinsic insight and wisdom that parents often have about their child, I work collaboratively with parents to best support their child.
My therapeutic approach is relational, with an emphasis on introspection, self-awareness, and opening doors to access one's authentic self. I also utilize evidence-based interventions focusing on relaxation, mind-body connection, thought-strategies and self-care.
I have specialized training and interest in working with youth who have experienced trauma and attachment disruptions. I believe that each child deserves a safe space to explore and work through their challenges in order to move forward and lead a fulfilling life.
I also enjoy working with adults who are looking to explore past and present relational dynamics, work through past traumas, find inner peace, or strengthen their connection with others. I value the opportunity to guide clients on their path toward self-exploration and tailor my approach to individual needs.
