Dr. Hoover's education and clinical training experience encompass working with children, adolescents, and families, employing individual, family, or play therapy, as appropriate. Specifically, Dr. Hoover has worked with individuals who have been sexually abused and persons with posttraumatic stress disorder, in addition to mood and anxiety disorders. Special interests include evaluation and treatment of traumatized children, refugees, and asylees.
