Joy Kassett
Joy Kassett, Ph.D. earned graduate degrees in social work and public health from Columbia University in New York City and her psychology degree from The Catholic University of America in the District of Columbia. In addition to her graduate degrees, she earned certificates in adult, child and adolescent psychoanalysis and has an independent private practice in Northwest Washington. Dr. Kassett is the Chair of the Child and Adolescent Training Program at the Washington Baltimore Center for Psychoanalysis (WBCP). She is a teaching analyst at the WBCP and is also on the clinical faculty at The George Washington University, Howard University and Washington School of Psychiatry. Dr. Kassett serves as a Clinical Consultant for St. Ann’s Center for Children, Youth and Families in Hyattsville, MD, a residential program for teen mothers and homeless mothers, in transition.
