Julianne Ludlam
I conduct psychological and forensic evaluations at KKJ Forensic and Psychological Services. Whether you are trying to better understand yourself or are looking for diagnostic clarity, or whether you have been recommended or required to seek an evaluation, you want assurance that you will be heard, treated fairly, and met with dignity and respect. Psychological evaluations are useful for diagnosis and treatment planning, and they can help those struggling with legal, personal, or emotional issues. Quality psychological assessments can be informative and therapeutic, respectful and sensitive, and fair to all parties involved. I believe evaluations should also appreciate differences; factors like ethnicity, gender, and socio-economic status affect beliefs and behavior and may be sources of oppression and trauma. My clinical interests and background have centered around trauma and trauma-related disorders, and my approach to all evaluations is trauma-informed. Regarding my education and background, my Master’s degree is from Harvard University, and my doctorate is from Alliant International University. Prior to my current position, I taught at the University of Missouri, and I trained at California Pacific Medical Center’s outpatient mental health clinic, San Francisco County Jail’s psychiatric services unit, and a community mental health center.
