About:

Julie A. GalvinMy colleagues and I bring a wealth of experience to bear for all age groups—children, teens, young adults, older adults. From education to career, individuals to relationships, our team of practitioners has the expertise to help solve your issues. I have more than 25 years of experience in psychology and education.

Even “good” change can bring on stress. Together, let’s identify the core issues, dig into ways to resolve them, and set you on a path to thrive in your world. Having worked with thousands of clients—from infants through the elderly—whose challenges range from short-term milder adjustment issues to life-long disabling challenges, we can identify your underlying issues. The goal is to help you to feel empowered, through compassionate, warm, caring interaction and process. Our practice is founded in a growth mindset, that one’s talents and abilities can be developed through effort, good guidance and learning, as well as persistence.

How we’ll work to achieve your goals: We all face adversity and challenges throughout our lives. You have the power to choose how you react and overcome them. Together, we’ll uncover your truth and arrive at the most powerful ways for you to meet those challenges. Our licensed therapists treat patients with conditions relating to children, adolescents, adults, adjustment disorders, anxiety, depression, ADHD & executive functioning, alcohol and substance abuse. We do neuropsychological evaluations as well.

Child therapy includes K-12 education, and helping children thrive—both in school and in their personal lives. Adult therapy includes working with individuals, couples, and adults with addiction issues.
