Dr. Samaniego Estrada provides counseling and psychological testing services to adults, children, and adolescents. She utilizes a variety of modalities including: individual, group, and couples/family therapy to treat a wide-range of concerns, such as: daily stressors, emotional distress, behavioral problems, issues related to trauma and abuse, interpersonal conflict, etc.

Her goal is to provide high-quality services by utilizing evidence-based (when available) or empirically-supported interventions specifically designed for the presenting issue, while considering the unique needs and preferences of each client. She continually seeks education and further training in relevant treatments and methods to benefit those she serves.

Dr. Samaniego Estrada obtained her doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in Counseling Psychology through an APA-Accredited program at the University of Northern Colorado. Her training and experience include providing psychological services primarily using approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy, Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and others as deemed appropriate for each client. She believes in clients' right to be informed about their treatment options before undergoing professional intervention, and will strive to inform and guide each client in making that decision.
