My practice is focused on supporting healthy development. I work with parents and young children to address behavioral issues, attention problems, anxiety, and other life issues that can sometimes get in the way of children reaching their full potential. In addition to working with children individually, I also help parents develop and implement strategies to improve their children’s cooperation at home, academic achievement, social and emotional functioning, self-esteem, and coping skills. I also provide career counseling to young adults and mid-life adults who are looking for satisfying work that fits with the rest of their life.
In my decades of experience, I have treated many children with ADHD, behavior problems, and anxiety. I have worked with children in early intervention, preschool special education, and in pediatric health care settings. I have training in SPACE (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions). I also completed Career Development Facilitator training.
Currently, I am working with clients in NY state through video sessions on a secure platform. I am finding that my video sessions are working best for: parents who are seeking support and strategies to help their children, older children or teens who are anxious, and older children or teens who need help with executive function or organizational challenges related to ADHD.
