I received a Masters Degree in School Psychology in 1975 and earned my PhD in 1993 before becoming a credentialed play therapy supervisor and earning my Board Certification in School Psychology (ABPP) in 2014. In my leadership roles, I served several elected positions in state and national professional organizations. After working for nearly 40 years in developmental centers for children with special needs and school systems, I retired in 2016. Now I devote my time to exclusively to a psychological private practice I built with my husband and son where I work exclusively with children under age 12. I also spend time and writing books, chapters, and articles pertaining to children's issues.
