Dr. Lee Ann Annotti specializes in conducting psychological evaluations for toddlers, children, adolescents, and young adults, with expertise in assessing children with developmental delays, such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Learning Disorders, and Attention-Deficit Disorders. Dr. Annotti only uses evidence-based tests and prefers to include the family in the assessment process, as the parents are the greatest advocates of the child. She believes psychoeducation and parent training are the core features of any successful intervention plan to help a child achieve his/her personal best. The goal of evaluations is for the family to understand their child’s unique strengths and challenges, to provide the family with an actionable plan to support the child, and to provide a roadmap for next steps.
To supporting the family unit, Dr. Annotti provides parent training for a range of concerns: how to manage challenging behaviors in the home; how to communicate more effectively with your child; how to help with sibling conflict; and, learning strategies and next steps to help a child who receives a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder.
She earned a Ph.D. in School Psychology at the University of Maryland, and then completed a post-doctoral fellowship at New York, Westchester Institute for Human Development.
