Libbi Palmer
Libbi Palmer, Psy.D. has worked with victims of crime and trauma since 1989.
She had a 15-year career in law enforcement specializing in the investigation of crimes against children and major cases.
She has worked in the mental health field as a school counselor, outpatient therapist, clinical data analyst, program manager, and clinical director at a mental health center.
She has a private practice specializing in mental health treatment for victims of crimes and emergency service personnel.
She is a member of the Mayflower CISM Team and frequently works to provide training, debriefings, and emotional support to emergency service personnel. She is the clinical supervisor for the peer support team for the Colorado State Patrol.
She has a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Colorado in Psychology and Sociology, a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology from Lesley University, and a Doctorate in Counseling Psychology from the University of Northern Colorado.
She is a licensed psychologist.
She provides trainings around the country about the impact of trauma and how to help people heal.
She is the author of The PTSD Workbook for Teens.
