Lisa Nikunen
I have applied my doctorate degree in clinical psychology to working with families and individuals who are seeking expertise in balancing emotional and relationship issues. My approach facilitates individual growth and understanding by finding strength, self-awareness and compassion. Specific coping skills and thinking patterns are identified for each client. I use a collaborative approach which values cultural differences. My work is trauma informed and empowers the healing process. Child and adult development form a cornerstone of my clinical views and assists my clients in defining their goals. I have worked with all ages over the past 22 years, with a focus on adolescent and adult development.
