Lucetry DaltonDr. Lucetry B. Dalton is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with Premise Health in Detroit, MI. She was born and raised in Pontiac, MI and earned a BA in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2011. She then attended the Chicago School of Professional Psychology, Washington D.C. Campus, where she earned her MA in 2013 and Doctorate of Psychology in 2017, both in Clinical Psychology. She completed her Psychology Internship at Conemaugh Memorial Hospital in Johnstown, PA before returning to Michigan in 2017 to complete a two-year fellowship in Clinical Health Psychology at McLaren hospital in Flint, MI. Dr. Dalton is a published researcher and author, member of various national professional organizations, and involved in several community service projects. She is a lifetime member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and enjoys sports, music, traveling, food, and spending time with her family & friends. Dr. Dalton is the co-founder, CEO, and Director of Mental Health Development of the Process Academy, LLP, a sports and mental health training academy. In 2018, she had the honor of being the Commencement Speaker at her high school alma mater during the Class of 2018 graduation ceremony. She has been awarded the highest honor of Proclamation by the Oakland County Board of Commissioners,honored as a “Hometown Hero” by the honorable Mayor Waterman of Pontiac, MI, nominated for the Health Professional Hero Award by the Grand Blanc Chamber of Commerce, and selected as the Top Winner and Most Elite of the Oakland County Executive Elite40 under 40 Class of 2018, making her the first woman of color, first doctor, first native of Pontiac, and the youngest individual (at 28 years old) to ever receive this honor. As a Psychologist, Dr. Dalton has primarily worked in healthcare settings with the athlete, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations who are experiencing a range of comorbid mental health and chronic medical conditions.
