Markham Giblin
I work most successfully with clients who are highly motivated to change their mood, symptoms, interpersonal struggles, relationships, circumstances, but who need a coach and a road map to get there. My clients largely suffer from anxiety, social anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, panic disorders, phobias, depression, bipolar disorder and ADD/ADHD. They are tweens, adolescents, adults. I work often with young adults finding their paths and places in the word.
My clients learn new strategies and develop the tools needed to make lasting changes in their lives, through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Exposure and Response Therapy, Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and other mood regulation techniques. Each client receives a tailored mixture of therapies depending upon symptoms, personality, and needs.
It is my goal to work together with you in a professional, respectful, and supportive environment. My clients tell me that I explain psychological processes and solutions in a way they can understand in a new and meaningful way. I combine humor with empathy and goal-setting.
