About:

Martha Moore is an individual and family psychotherapist and developmental psychologist. She comes from a central framework of Interpersonal Neurobiology, a theory and practical working model which describes human development and functioning as being a product of the relationship between the body, mind and relationships. In all her work, Dr. Moore is motivated by the power and joy of that moment when the individual discovers his, her, or their own unique purpose, passion and position within the larger scope of family, friends, work and participation in the community. Dr. Moore’s practice is a safe and accepting haven for exploration of all that supports wellbeing in our lives.

Dr. Moore has 27 years of training and experience in areas of specialization such as Women’s Developmental Psychology; Attachment-based Treatment; Ecosystemic Child and Family Therapy; Perinatal Depression and Anxiety interventions; Infant-Family Early Childhood Mental Health; the neurobiology and treatment of trauma; learning disabilities; and developmental disabilities.

Dr. Moore is an organizational consultant, Reflective Practice facilitator/trainer, and a credentialed teacher. She began her career as a psychologist 27 years ago and has continued in partnership with those in the field of education for 31 years. Over the past 15 years, Dr. Moore’s private practice has evolved to a concentration not only in psychotherapy, but on training and consultation with a focus on the development of relationship-based, reflective, collaborative, and innovative organizational structures and practices. Using a unique blend of reflective practice and didactic and experiential learning opportunities, Dr. Moore has had the privilege of offering consultation to many agencies who directly or indirectly support the work of human services in California.
