Melissa Singer
My goal is to help children, adolescents and young adults achieve their potential in both their academic and personal lives. By determining the source of children’s problems, whether they are academic, behavioral, emotional or neurological, I can alleviate the frustration associated with unanswered questions regarding their difficulties. In addition, I help parents avoid wasting valuable time and resources on ineffective treatment. By identifying children’s strengths and weaknesses, I can provide recommendations to help teachers and parents show children how to use their more developed skills to compensate for any limitations they may have. Finally, I guide children and their families towards appropriate and effective treatment strategies, and act as an advocate in helping them receive the services they need.No personal statement at this time
