The Imagine Center for Psychological Health is an outpatient mental health practice that provides outpatient mental and behavioral health services. These services include psychodiagnostics/assessment, therapy, and education consultation. The Center operates in three locations, serving much of southeastern Michigan. The Center has developed a model of service that allows us to assess, diagnose and treat children, adults, and families with developmental, behavioral or psychiatric conditions and/or problems in living. Importantly and uniquely, the Center provides coverage for those living across the socioeconomic range, particularly those at the lower end of the economic scale, who very often would not have otherwise been able to obtain such services.

The current population served is approximately 60% pediatric/family and 40% adult. Approximately 50% of the population served are insured on Medicaid plans – an important aspect of our mission, and of our overall business model, is/has been to provide exceptional service to anyone, but especially to individuals at the lower end of the socioeconomic range, and for whom such services are scarcely available. We have become expert in this pursuit.

We have been serving approximately 18,000 individuals/families per year, over the past five years. The Center accepts all insurance plans and service is denied to no one based on ability to pay.

The Center, largely due to the uniqueness of services provided (full range of services rapidly applied across the socioeconomic range), has a very broad base of referral sources, including pediatricians, family practitioners, neurologists, schools, mental health service providers, geneticists, and has become an important asset to the health care community of southeastern Michigan; the center is highly regarded in the community.

In response to the threat of COVID-19, the Center has been operating 100% virtually since March 8th, and with minimal disruption in service.
