Natasha Dagys Limones, PhD, is a bilingual licensed educational psychologist and credentialed school psychologist. She has worked in several school districts in the San Francisco Bay Area in various settings including urban, suburban, public, and nonpublic schools. She has ample experience working with students with a wide range of age, needs, disabilities, cultures, linguistic backgrounds, and developmental levels. As a native Spanish speaker born and raised in Uruguay, she is well-equipped to conduct bilingual psychoeducational assessments that take cultural and linguistic diversity into consideration while also considering factors such as immigration and acculturation history.

Dr. Limones uses an ecological and cross-cultural lens to understand how children develop and function. As she provides assessment, consultation, and training services to students, schools, and districts, she considers how the various settings, factors, and experiences of students impact their current functioning and progress. Her assessments provide detailed information regarding the whole child, and her consultation and training services help parents and school staff identify systems and strategies that promote academic, social, and behavioral well-being. The ultimate goal of each assessment is to understand a child’s strengths and weaknesses and make recommendations that address the areas of needs while capitalizing on the areas of strength.

In addition, as a scientist-practitioner Dr. Limones has conducted research, taught at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and facilitated program development and evaluation. Through her perspective as a scientist-practitioner she has helped schools and districts implement best practices and procedures that help systems run smoother and more efficiently so that children receive timely and appropriate supports and interventions.
