About:

Nick PortaNick Porta is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and the owner/founder of Papillon Behavioral Health. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Florida State University. He achieved his Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy en route to earning his Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from The School of Professional Psychology at Forest Institute in Springfield, Missouri. It was in Springfield where Nick met his wife Gena. Nick and Gena decided to move to beautiful East Tennessee in 2018 in order to live close to the mountains and to open Papillon Behavioral Health.

Nick likes sports, loves the outdoors, and enjoys traveling. After college, Nick had the opportunity to backpack through Europe and to spend two months in South America: one surfing in Ecuador and one working on a ranch with gauchos in Argentina. He loves adventure and sharing in great experiences with his loved ones. Nick and his wife Gena continue to live life led by their free hearts.
