Patricia Gatto-Walden
Patricia Gatto-Walden, PhD, is a nationally recognized psychologist, who has worked therapeutically with gifted, highly and profoundly gifted children, adolescents and adults for over three decades. In her adjunct gifted educational consulting practice, she specializes in helping parents and educators understand and embrace innate gifted characteristics which promote students’ self-confidence, academic success and well-being. Her foundational book, Embracing the Whole Gifted Self, 2016, personifies giftedness. She is a featured speaker at gifted international, national and state conferences, provides teacher in-service trainings nationwide, and is a two-term past Chair of Global Awareness Network for the National Association for Gifted Children. SENG honored Dr. Patty at the 2016 national conference with the Clinician of the Year Award. She is a Senior Fellow at the Institute of Educational Advancement and co-founder of “Yunasa”, a holistic summer camp for highly gifted youth. Dr. Patty has offices in Denver, Colorado area and Amelia Island and West Palm Beach, Florida.
