Paul Shawler
Paul Shawler, PhD , is a licensed clinical psychologist and an Assistant Professor within the Center on Child Abuse and Neglect at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. Paul completed his doctoral requirements in clinical psychology from Oklahoma State University. His areas of expertise involve dissemination and implementation of evidence-based services. His research and clinical expertise includes juvenile justice populations, parenting, and selective mutism, and children with developmental disabilities. He directs the selective mutism program at the OU Child Study Center and is a national trainer in the treatment program for children with problematic sexual behavior. He was appointed by the governor of Oklahoma to serve on the State Advisory Group for Juvenile Justice.
