Richard Martielli
Dr. Martielli attended Rutgers University and earned his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Chemistry. He attended Saint Louis University for graduate school and earned his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology. He completed a year-long internship at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City and went on to work as a Research Supervisor at the University of California – San Diego. He has been a staff psychologist at the VA St. Louis Health Care System since 2007 where he works in the Primary Care-Mental Health Integration (PC-MHI) program, a program that embeds psychologists within a primary care clinic to increase assess of mental health services for Veterans seeking care at the VA. He received a Presidential citation from the President of the American Psychological Association for his work in this field. He is board-certified in clinical psychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology. He has served as the President of the Missouri Psychological Association.
