Ronald Coffen
I specialize in improving life management for Children, Adolescents and their Families. I teach graduate university child and adolescent therapy courses and enjoy maintaining a small private practice serving youth and their families. I particularly enjoy working with kids who are experiencing Anxiety, ADHD, Behavior Problems, Depression, Social problems and difficulties getting along with others. I use short-term therapy approaches that build on existing strengths to improve life outcomes. Your child or teen will gain valuable tools and skills for managing life now and into the future.
I enjoy kids and quickly establish positive working relationships with children, pre-teens, and adolescents. Each child has individual strengths and skills that we work with to develop solutions that work for your son or daughter. I look forward to collaborating to benefit your family.
I do counseling primarily because I love working with young people, not to earn my living--so, my approach is often more personal and less like other outpatient clinics where more and more clients are needed to make a profit. Instead, I work for YOUR benefit. I look forward to hearing from you!
