I am a general psychological services practice and provide counseling, psychotherapy, testing, psychological evaluations, and hypnosis. Evaluations are performed for a variety of reasons, including behavioral issues, testing for ADHD, court order/legal, employer required, and to provide information that guides treatment. Hypnosis is most frequently requested for habit control issues such as smoking and weight loss, but is done for a variety of other reasons also. I have practiced in Longview, Texas for 35 years. I see individuals, couples, and families for a wide variety of issues. My clients range in age from 3 years-old to 70+ years-old. I believe that it is necessary to have a deep, sensitive, compassionate understanding of my client as a person first, before clinical issues can be successfully resolved. In most cases that can be done relatively quickly. I received my Ph. D. from Texas A & M University in 1983. I did a one year internship at Colorado State University. I have over 15 years teaching experience at the college level.
